I really like this poppy picture, discovered on the dSLR after a summer of ignoring said camera. But I don't have much of an entry to go with it, not unless you want to hear about how I realized that my working in garden:sitting in garden enjoying it ratio is 17:0. As in, I figure, I spent at most 17 hours working in the garden this year, and no time at all in it unless I was working in it. And 17 hours is nowhere near *enough*, which is why all I'm giving you is the extreme closeup.

I've been reading blogs via rss reader, primarily because my eyes try to roll to the back of my head, and beat on the various parts of my brain that can transmit "headache" when I have to read light text on dark backgrounds - and that's already with the font size on many pages increased. Today, I tried to figure out how many months since I last used the vision care portion of my benefits, and I either have to wait six or 18 more months before I can walk into the optometrist's and demand "make me look smarter" again.
But as I was paging through the stuff that I told the rss reader to read for me (convenient, that), I realized that not only do I read very few blogs, but more than half of the ones I optimistically stuck in my reader I don't actually *like*. I *want* to like more blogs, because procrastination is fun! But it seems that what I'm looking for, not so easy to find.
But maybe you'll like what I like?
You can just click on the ones in the sidebar, yes? My list of only two links? Rick's neglected blog which is interesting, but only about 10% as interesting as he is, and the Turboblog, which, I know, goes by a different name, but is usually funny. This one is reliably and usually laugh out loud funny (though I suspect I am a mean person for enjoying it so much. I wish there were more like it.) This one I've liked for years. This one is smart. There was the one from Antarctica with the cool penguin pictures, but it is gone now.
What else is good? I want to know.
