This past weekend, I put a sling up for my boat, and tucked the kayak away for the winter. I loosened he hatches, covered the cockpit, and put away all my paddling gear. I took the kayak cradles off my roof rack. And then?
Then this happens:
Seriously, how can you not feel the need to at least plan to paddle when the forecast is that good (keep in mind the date). Weather like that, I don't even need to wear the paddling mittens, or a toque. Weather like that, this late in the season, is something that shouldn't be wasted. I don't plan on wasting it. Unless of course the forecast changes...
